Disappearing posts.

  I have used sticky posts many times before before but now any new posts I make sticky do not appear on the front page and some now don’t even appear on my main blog itself (you have to actively search for them) despite me having ticked all the right boxes. I’ve deleted other sticky posts from my front page and still nothing is working. What am I doing wrong?

  The Theme you have chosen uses featured posts. Review the specifications and options of the Theme to see how featured posts and sticky posts are handled.

  Sometimes a Sticky Post means the post will stick to the top of the post queue. Other Themes, it means it may go into the slider, which you are using, and not be visible on the front page, but possibly on the blog page if you are using a static or dynamic front page.

  The information about the Theme will help you learn how this particular Theme uses sticky posts, and how things get into the slider.
