Disappearing Posts

    I’ve written the same post twice and each time I go to preview it, save it as a draft or post it, it completely disappears (everything except for the title). And I lose everything. This is rather frustrating as I have now written the post twice and will likely have to do it a third time. Any help or guidance is extremely appreciated.

    I’m so sorry to hear that. When I look at both of the posts titled “Make 3 New Desserts,” I don’t see anything saved in your Revisions module.

    Can you let me know if you’re copying and pasting any of the content into your post? Sometimes copying and pasting can introduce additional code that causes problems with the editor.

    Could you also let me know what internet browser and operating system you’re using, including the versions? Do you have cookies enabled?

    I posted one of them to the blog and the only thing that showed up was the title. So the second time, I saved it before I posted it and at that point everything except for the title disappeared again.

    I did not copy and paste any of the words, but I did copy and paste a few photos. I also inserted a few of my own photos. Should I save the photos first and then insert them into the post, instead of copy and paste? I am also trying to insert some links in to the post, and I have never done that before, so I wasn’t sure if that could be the problem.

    I’m using Mozilla Firefox and my operating system is Windows XP. I’m not sure about the cookies – my husband is the computer genius and has all of that set up. If you think that could be an issue, I can find out one way or the other?

    I would suggest saving the photos to your hard drive first and then uploading them into your Media Library to insert them into your post. Most likely, this problem is being caused by copying and pasting the photos.

    Would you mind uploading your images as per this guide and letting me know if that fixes the problem for you?
