disappearing widgets on posts

  My widgets are present on my home page and on the other two static pages on my blog. But I’ve noticed when a post is selected to be viewed from catagories or recent posts the blog post comes up in a new page on its own – but with no widgets in sight.
  Any thoughts?

  That’s normal behavior for the theme in question. No sidebar display when single posts are viewed on their own pages is the primary feature of the Twenty Eleven theme. Please read this article on Twenty Eleven so you are clear on how the theme is coded to function, and note that we cannot edit templates and themes and change how themes function.
