Disappearing widgets unrelated to theme change
-
All widgets have disappeared from my blog. I have not changed themes and they are not at the bottom of the page of my blog. I have rechecked the widget settings and they are still there and I have updated and re-saved them, but they still do not appear. I don’t know how long this has been going on. The only change I have made is the last two posts I wrote as one column posts, thinking that that only changed what I was seeing while I was writing the post. But I have since gone back and re-edited them to 2-column and nothing has changed. And anyway the widgets have disappeared from all my posts, not just those two!

Your “With a quack, quack here…” post had a random closing div tag, which was telling your sidebar to terminate prematurely.
It’s gone now, and it looks to be good.

Thanks for your help and I did look for one of those, but didn’t find it. Glad your eagle eyes were better than mine. Unfortunately, I’m not seeing the fruits of your labor when I visit my site! Widgets are still gone! Any other ideas?
