Disappointed in Decision to Not Include Social Count in Listed Followers

    Hello,

We recently learned of and are very disappointed by the WordPress decision to not include the social followers in the count provided on the homepage follower widget.

As a grant funded organization, we rely on transparency and showing growth in our outreach efforts. So while the numbers are still available to admin to include in reports to funders, they are no longer publicly available to future funders and supporters.

We would like to have the option to include social followers on our page within the widget, even if listed separately beneath the WordPress and email followers to allow for this public transparency.

There are likely others in this community who would also benefit from this option.

    Thank you,
    Liz
