  I first started learning WordPress through Cornell University CU Blogs for a course. I then needed to use this for a non-university group, created a blog, purchased a premium subscription, and suddenly now, the site has entirely disappeared. Help!

  I think you are seeing a trial site that was on the Cornell University blog system and never developed. It now tells me that even that is no longer operational. The site I am talking about is a WordPress site not linked to Cornell.

  What is the URL of the site you need help with?

  If by chance you are talking about a site using the standalone WP software, you’ll want to post at the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on that page.

  Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom are different entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
