Discarded address disaster

    Hello,

I had a worpress account under one url, let’s call it url A. I then set up a new, separate wordpress account – under url B, but I changed my mind and wanted to transfer url A to my new account and blog. To do this, I discarded url A in the hope that it would re-enter the pool of possible address names so I could change url B to url A but this hasn’t worked. Is there any way of making url A available again?

    Sorry if this sounds insane.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If I get it correctly, You can’t register .wordpress.com twice, Once deleted, It’s gone forever.

That is why the warnings say that it is permanent, irreversible, and neither you nor anyone else can ever use that URL again. There are three warnings and an email confirmation. If you go ahead and delete it, you are done. It’s over. Pick a new name or register a whatever.wordpress.com URL and then buy a Custom Domain and Mapping.
