Disconnect btwn FB shares and Site Stats

  How can one can have way more FB shares of a post (as reflected in the number on the FB share button) when one’s daily site stats for that day says far fewer unique visitors came to your site?

  The shared numbers you see in your stats may not match the Sharing buttons or stats provided by the Sharing Services themselves, because we can only count shares that happen on WordPress.com.
