Disconnect domain from wp Version 3.8.4

  Hi,

  I am currently working on a website for some other people. They haven’t done anything for the website in ages, so it run on an old version of wp – Version 3.8.4.
  I can’t seem to upgrade myself, since I’m not the owner of the account or something like that. I just want to disconnect the domain, since it will be used on another site. I have already requested the transfer from the host and connected the domain to the new site. Do I need to do something in wp to make it go through?

  This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
