Disconnect jetpack

I have deleted the jetpack plugin, but jetpack is still polling my sites status:

And i cannot delete it from my wordpress account because i get this error: Please login to directly to disconnect it from your account.
what does it mean? how do i stop it?WP.com: Yes

If you deleted the Jetpack plugin without first disconnecting Jetpack and disabling the Monitor module, you would still receive those pings. Our system can’t distinguish between a site being down due to hosting issues or intentionally taken down by you. This is what the “Jetpack Site Uptime Monitor” checks for.
I’ve disconnected the connection for flurb.me. In the future, if you use Jetpack again, please disconnect the plugin from your account before deleting it to fully disable this feature.
