Disconnect JetPack account from blog
-
Hi, please can you disconnect this account from the blog eaworldview.com? I am asking WordPress to do it because I no longer write for this blog but it is still using my account. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

At this time you can’t delete self hosted sites from your account but Staff can. In the future you will be able to delete them yourself. Provided you post the URLs of self hosted blogs you want deleted from your account into a forum thread like this one, Staff can do this for you. This thread is tagged for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

I have disconnected eaworldview.com from Jetpack for you. It should no longer appear in your list of blogs on WordPress.com.
If the administrators of that blog wish to do so, they can reconnect Jetpack with a different WordPress.com account.

My problem is of a circular nature I believe. My domain name iammauralynch.com has been registered with 1&1 Internet for a long time. My WordPress blog that I let rest for a couple of years was made under JetPack, and lots has changed with WordPress since then (like how it’s evolved!)—and apparently JetPack is outdated. I don’t want to lose that content, though. I think something is wrong with both my re-direct from there and the iammauralynch.wordpress… account I set up. When I try to make changes to a theme and preview, my url has a blank page on it.
Sorry this is clear as mud, I’m just not even sure how to ask for what I bet you can figure out that I need:)! I want to not have the wordpress part of my name show up when going to my domain, also.
Thanks! -
@iammauralynch your issue is different from the initial issue posted here, but I’ll try to assist you.
The site at iammauralynch.com does not appear to be connected to Jetpack. I see domain mapping for iammauralynch.com purchased in February, but the site is not pointing to iammauralynch.wordpress.com but to hosting at 1and1.com.
If you wish to point the site to WordPress.com, you will need to log into your domain registrar and update the name servers:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/You can export your content (if it’s a WordPress site) from 1and1.com to your new WordPress.com site if you wish it to be hosted with us.
If you are still intending to use your 1and1 hosting account for your site, you should contact them for assistance, as we cannot access that account to help you determine why your site isn’t working. At any rate, would not have anything to do with Jetpack, which simply adds additional functionality to a site, and cannot prevent the site from loading or the domain itself from working properly.
