Disconnect Jetpack Sites for sites that no longer exist.
-
I was trying to find a way to remove old WordPress sites that I no longer have active. At the time I did not realize there was a specific process of disconnecting them before decommissioning the sites.

Hi there,
Our support page provides a guide on how to remove self-hosted WordPress sites from your WordPress.com account:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/
If you have any questions or trouble with the disconnection, let me know, and I’d be happy to assist with disconnecting them on our end. Just let me know which sites.
Cheers,

Hello!
Here is a link with a step-by-step guide for disconnecting Jetpack for your self-hosted sites:

Thank you staff-doublebassd, unfortunately the sites I need to remove were self hosted and I decommissioned the servers before following these steps. As a result I have no ability to switch to them as listed in the directions to remove them from my account.

@supernovia There are three
http://www.rgates.com
http://www.whatoutforscams.com
http://www.gatesography.com (please note there are two, an active one, and one that is no longer active. Thanks @supernovia

Hi, I got the first two removed. The last one I’m having a bit of trouble with:
http://www.gatesography.com (please note there are two, an active one, and one that is no longer active.
I checked both links to figure out which one was wrong. Both say Bad Gateway. Would you be willing to disconnect and reconnect the live one so we can see which one that was, and remove the other?

@supernovia Thank you for the assistance. I can’t get into the old server, there is a database issue. I will just go ahead and rebuild it. You can remove both http://www.gatesography.com entries.
Thanks again for the assistance. Now I know how to handle this in the future. -
Hi there,
I have disconnected those two sites from your WordPress.com account. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.
