rimaflihan.com brings me to rimaflihancom.wordpress.com so there is no need to disconnect your domain.

However to set rimaflihan.com as your primary domain, you need a paid plan. In your case I would advice the Personal Plan. Once you have a paid plan, you can set your custom domain to be your primary domain.

Thanks for the reply, I did that, how can I set my custom domain to be my primary domain?

  • Hi Y’all –

I was double checking that the domain had been updated as primary when I realized the hosting plan has not been added on the account. It won’t let us set your domain as the primary one with out the hosting plan. Are you getting any errors or need more help with this? Go ahead and add that from here:

Once the plan is added you’ll go to this setting and make the update to the primary domain.

I already bought the personal plan

    Hello,

To disconnect the domain ‘rimaflihan.com’ from your current WordPress.com site and revert it back to ‘rimaflihancom.wordpress.com,’ follow these steps:

    1. Log in to WordPress.com: Ensure you are logged in to the WordPress.com account associated with the ‘rimaflihancom.wordpress.com’ site.
    2. Access Domains: From your WordPress.com dashboard, navigate to “My Sites” and then “Domains” or “Manage Domains.”
    3. Domain Settings: Look for the domain ‘rimaflihan.com’ in the list of domains. Click on it to access the domain settings.
    4. Domain Details: In the domain settings, you should find an option to manage the domain. Look for an option to “Disconnect,” “Unmap,” or “Release” the domain. Click on it to proceed with the disconnection.
    5. Confirm the Disconnection: A confirmation prompt may appear, asking you to confirm the action. Verify that you want to disconnect the domain from the current site.
    6. Domain Status: After successfully disconnecting the domain, it may take a little while for the changes to propagate. During this time, your website should revert to ‘rimaflihancom.wordpress.com.’
    7. Update DNS Settings (if necessary): If you initially configured custom DNS settings for ‘rimaflihan.com,’ and now it’s not working as expected, you may need to update the DNS settings to point back to the WordPress.com servers.

Remember, disconnecting the domain will unlink it from the current site and revert your website’s URL to ‘rimaflihancom.wordpress.com.’ If you encounter any issues during this process, consider reaching out to WordPress.com support for further assistance.

Best of luck with your domain changes! Let me know if you need any more help.
