disconnected from jetpack and cannot reconnect to my wordpress after troubleshooting

  I disconnected this site because I was troubleshooting. Now I cannot seem to reconnect this site to my wordpress account. It is hosted elsewhere. I can’t remember connecting an externally hosted domain being so difficult before.

  Hi there!

  You need to reconnect your site to your WordPress.com account through your site’s dashboard, not here at WordPress.com.

  You will need to log in at your website using your website username and password and not the “Login with WordPress.com” button as your site is not connected at the moment.

  Once you’re logged in, follow the prompts from the Jetpack plugin to reconnect your account.

  If you still have trouble, reach out to Jetpack support for help as they’re the ones who would need to help you reconnect your site.
