disconnected jetpack – not sure where my site went

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,
This evening I logged in to my site and there was a red warning sign on my naturalmomlovesprada.wordpress.com site. When I clicked on it – it said that it was disabled. I then clicked on that link and it said to disconnect from wordpress.com and I did having no other option.

The problem is that now that website is gone from my dashboard but I can still pull it up in my browser: naturalmomlovesprada.wordpress.com
Years ago I hosted this blog on a hosting service but it had been disconnected for years.
I would just like to know where it went and how to access this blog now….
    Thanks,
    Shanta

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there. https://naturalmomlovesprada.wordpress.com/ is a free WordPress.com address, so Jetpack shouldn’t have anything to do with it. Jetpack is used to connect self-hosted sites to WordPress.com. WordPress.com sites don’t need it and can’t install it.

What happens if you click this direct link to the dashboard? https://naturalmomlovesprada.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ If you get a warning that you don’t have access, then that blog is in a different account and you’ll need to log in to that account to access it.

If you can reach the dashboard from that link, then the site is probably just hidden from the My Sites page. Click on My Blogs on that page and change the visibility settings to have that blog appear on My Sites. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility
