Disconnected my site from wordpress- jetpack was enabled

    I was trying to tweak the landing page for my site, and accidentally disconnected the site from my wordpress domain. I can still see my site at conversationinitaly.com, but it is without the theme that a colleague worked hard to create.

    Jetpack was enabled, but not sure if it was involved.

    I was inside of tools and saw two options to change the url – once I changed from conversationsinitaly.com to conversationsinitaly.com/ourscholarship, then it was no more and I could not go back.

    I can still see my content, but really would like to get it back on word press.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will also accept a dope slap.

    Hi there,

    We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin. Yours is a Jetpack issue.

    You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

    thanks for your reply.

    I do have a wordpress.com account. I had a private domain, but it was still managed through wordpress.com.

    I may still be in the wrong place, but did want to clarify.

    I will go to jetpack if that is the best place to go.
