Disconnecting a Domain from WP.com and restarting the connection

    I enherited a website client …

    I was asked to build a website on WordPress.com using a premium hosting plan. When I took over this account, the domain was already connected but not fully attached.

    The domain is hosted on GoDaddy. I have been working with them to change the DNS and make sure that all of the info is correct. They suggest that I keep the nameservers on GoDaddy rather than switching them to the WP nameservers. We tried to use the advanced setup.

    I am starting to go crazy because WP live chat support has not responded in 24+ hours.

    I would like to simply disconnect the domain and start the process over but I can’t seem to do that.

    I found this help article that says “on the right sidebar” but the domains screen does not have a right sidebar and I can’t find any place to disconnect, or detatch the domain so I can reconnect it and start over.
