Hi, I am currently using uKit for my website, but thought about moving to the WordPress Personal Plan. It is showing $48 per year ($4 per month). Online, I have found many different coupon codes, but none seem to work. I was curious if there are any deals going on. My subscription period is not up until December 3rd with uKit, so I have a little bit of time to weight my options. Also, I see that the personal plan shows a custom domain, but will that include the ‘wordpress.com’ portion? I do not want my website to have ‘wordpress.com’ attached to it. Thank you!

As far as I know, WordPress.com is not running any promotions right now. There are no coupon codes available right now. You will have to checkout the WordPress.com Personal plan at 48 USD.
As for the domain part, when you get the WordPress.com Personal plan, you will be eligible to get a custom domain. It’s complimentary as a part of the WordPress.com Personal plan. Once you pick a custom domain, your {name}.wordpress.com will automatically redirect to your custom domain. This way, you will not be forced to have {name}.wordpress.com format.

Coupon codes you find on coupon sites online are posted there by the users of those sites. We do not put up coupon codes on those sites, and most coupons you find that way are either fake or expired.
Also, I see that the personal plan shows a custom domain, but will that include the ‘wordpress.com’ portion? I do not want my website to have ‘wordpress.com’ attached to it.
Every site on WordPress.com has a free *.wordpress.com URL. You cannot get rid of that apart from completely deleting a site. But if you purchase a plan you can register or connect a custom domain which will show in your browser instead of the free address. You can learn more about the domain options we have here:
