Discrepance between widget and followers list

Hi.
My blog as been up for a long time now, and it remained almost “silent” for some years as well, I guess during the time wordpress had some sort of reorganizazion.
Now I see in my panel I have a follower list, which divedes them between wordpress followers and e-mail followers. There the sistem count 5 e-mail followers, all of them very recent.
If I go to my blog page though, I still see the widget to subscribe by e-mail that counts 1585 followers. Really I doubt I ever had that much, but how is there such a discrepance with the list? They do receive my updates or it’s just an error?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The subscriber total includes your full audience: email subscribers, WordPress.com followers, and followers of any Publicize-connected Facebook and Twitter profiles.
In your case, that’s 5 email subscribers, 97 WordPress.com followers, and 1,483 Facebook followers.
