Discrepancies on different computers

    Hi,

    We have this yellow banner header on the top of our page that we recently changed the address for in a php file on the backend. On some computers, my bosses’ for example it still shows the old address on this one page for some reason: https://windhorsebenefits.com/calculator/

    1495 Canyon is the correct address. The old one is 19th St.

    We cleared his cache and tried it on multiple browsers and it’s wrong on everything. He said he had someone else try it and it was wrong on theirs too. It looks fine on mine. (I have a Mac and the two that are having this problem are PCs.) Does anyone have any ideas about this? There’s only place to change it on the backend. Why would it work on all the pages except that calculator page and only on some devices? I have no idea what to do…

    Hi there!

    The issue sounds like it’s got something to do with caching. I checked the site on my end and I see the current address, not the old one. Is it possible that the folks who are seeing the old address are seeing a cached version of the site from their ISP (Internet Service Provider)’s end? Some ISPs cache websites, and in such cases, clearing the local browser cache often doesn’t help. They’d need to wait for the cache to expire and then try again.

    If you’ve asked them to wait for some time and try again, and they’re still seeing the old version, you may want to ask them to reach out to their internet service provider or try visiting the site from a different internet connection to see if they see the updated/current version.
