Discrepancy between chosen Time Zone and time/date of publication

    Since introduction of new Stats page, a problem has arisen.
    My ‘clock’ is set to my time zone – i.e.: Melbourne, Aus.
    But the stats appear to work off a different (presumably North American) time zone.
    This leads to a ludicrous situation such as this morning when I published a post and five hours later the stats say “Nothing Published”.
    Now I’m assuming this is because the system is using US times and North America need to ‘catch up’ and of course I may be wrong. But it is disconcerting and irritating to have this discrepancy newly appear. I’d be grateful if you could (a) advise if I need to do something different, or (b) fix the problem at the WordPress end.

    Stats actually don’t function in real time, even in relation to when your posts are published. Everything is usually caught up within 24 hours.

    Once the stats are caught up, they will reflect your blog’s time zone choice.

    Does that clear things up? Let me know if you have more questions.
