Discussion forum stopped working for some of our visitors

    Dear WordPress
    I am writing on behalf of a website that I am helping to manage: https://culturalpraxis.net/

    We have tried to facilitate discussion in the forum related to this post

    Coffee Hour: Nordic Approaches to Early Childhood Education (Jan. 25, 2023)

    It seems that three of our visitors have got an error message when they have tried to post. ’email address invalid’

    All of them have logged in to their member accounts, which is required to comment.

    What goes wrong? It seems to work for some members but for some not. Previously it worked well for two of the three people who are now experiencing problems.

    Hi there!

    It appears your site at culturalpraxis.net is hosted by Hostinger, and it’s using the WordPress.org software.

    There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

    We provide support for WordPress.com sites on this forum. Since your site is hosted elsewhere, you would need to either contact the hosting service provider or post on the WordPress.org support forum.

    In this case, I’d suggest contacting theme support first. I looked at your site and noticed the comments section looks a little different than the standard WordPress comment section. I think (I could be wrong here) the comment section is powered by your theme (Or it could be a plugin). If it’s a plugin, I’d suggest contacting plugin support for help.
