  can I setup a discussion group within WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com is a blogging platform. It is not a wiki provider. If you wish you can add official users to your wordpress.com blog and assign them various roles. It’s recommended that there is only one Administrator for every blog.

  That being said if you want a site where anyone can post whatever to it then you are not describing a blog. You are describing a “wiki. A wiki is a web site developed collaboratively by a community of users, allowing any user to add and edit content and there are free wikis available on the internet. There are free wikis available on the internet.

  Hi
  wordpress,com does not have forums. (other than the obvious tech one open to everyone).

  however, depending on what you want :
  A blog with the S2 theme, can be used for a private discussion group between selected users.

  members would all have to have Wp account profiles, the blog can be set to private viewing, You can pick one Admistrator (which is advised) to run the blog.

  Hi Timethief, we posted at the same time.

  my suggested is different, in that sharing is much simpler and more limited. S2 is sort of like a private twitter between members.
