A staff member (supernovia) gave you the link to the wp-admin comments page in your previous thread (now closed): https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-avoid-the-disgusting-new-comment-edit-layout-and-the-old-one?replies=25#post-3059816
Many people prefer the simpler layout of the My Sites/Calypso editor but wp-admin is still available for longtime users. There is no reason you can’t bookmark that to avoid the Calypso comment editor altogether. -
The problem is now the default layout for all interactions is the new one… and it is slow, tine, short in options to interact, as reported above
I tried reproduce the BUGS and supernovia closed the issue without solve ANY off this problems
Can you solve the BUGS listed in the topics above?

Your site is five years old. If you click on “My Sites” and scroll down to the bottom on the left you should see a wp-admin link.
Just bookmark
https://tetzner.wordpress.com/wp-admin
https://tetzner.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php
and they can become your defaults. -

My question is:
Can YOU Solve the BUGs with new layout listed Above?
1) FUNCTIONALITY
2) Content
3) PERFORMANCE -
@tetzner as I mentioned earlier:
– I have noted your preferences and opinions.
– I have not been able to duplicate the bugs (slowness or stripped tags) even though I have tried the steps you have given me.
I asked for the browser and operating system information and you would not send that. If you would like us to continue troubleshooting, we will need to be able to duplicate the problem. Let us know browser and operating system information, as well as what extensions or plugins you’re using in your browser.
If you are not willing to cooperate in troubleshooting this further, we’ll close this thread as well, and you may lose access to posting here.
My recommendation if you have a strong preference for the wp-admin comment manager is to follow @themagicrobot’s advice and bookmark that page.

Haven’t been able to duplicate the problem yet. More context may help: How often are you editing comments on your site, and in what context?
-
I got Chrome installed on a virtual machine. Comment editing was not slow. But I did duplicate the issue where the heading tags were stripped out.
I am taking this to our bug team. My guess, though, is that the other browsers allowing heading tags may have the real bug, since comments are only supposed to include inline HTML, if I recall correctly. We’ll let you know what we find out.

Can you let us know why you are frequently editing comments and why they contain block level elements?

@supernovia edit using old is 0 secs on the new takes 3 secs… give me time to print screen and save this “waiting screen”
it´s a fact, is slower than the old one…
-
I’ve made a note on a previous issue where folks were complaining of speed problems.
I’ve also filed a bug about inconsistent tag stripping. We’ll update you when we hear more. Thank you for including your browser information so we could duplicate that.

Watch this vídeo, I record my screen doing the edit in both versions
Note only the time after the red circle appears (click)

Thanks to identify and request both BUG fix
Remenber that “Functionality” is a issue too
The new one you can only edit and using the old one more utilities are available and should Old:

I noted the preference earlier. As a heads up, I doubt we’ll be adding HTML buttons to the new comment editor though, as a design choice. I can’t think of too many cases where someone would need a full HTML editor to edit comments, considering comment edits are typically pretty minor. But again, you are welcome to use the old editor.

@supernovia at least a bigger edit frame/box
2 or 3 lines it´s too short
my blog has long comments, some of then with formating and information that generally need some adjust
I left the celular version since this change was applied there…
wordpress must consider a standard or default action the original version, the version used when the blog is created…
let the users choose to change rather than force to change, specially to something with bugs, less capability and slower
I´m saing that not for the first, second, third time… as other user told prior: my blog has more than 5 Years and ALL changes were like that: forced, with bugs and to a slower version, with less functionality than the prior.
my bookmarks has more shortcuts to old versions from wordpress than to general sites..
