  How do I know whether I am out of disk space?

  Where? On your computer? Or do you mean your Media Library? This is WordPress.com where we have 3GB of space in our Media Library or 13GB if we have an upgraded plan. That site is a WordPress.org site hosted by Bluehost so perhaps you need to ask them.

  Have you tried looking there already? My Media Library says (after 8 years and 800 posts) “You are currently using 376.0 MB out of 3.0 GB upload limit (12%)”. Perhaps WordPress.org works in the same way but as I’m a WordPress.com user and these are the WordPress.com forums I really don’t know. I would have hoped that as you pay Bluehost for hosting you would have unlimited space but you’ll have to ask them.
