Disparity between visits and social media shares

    Posted today and stats show 3 visits to that post, but it also shows 10 shares to Facebook. What is going on?

    Hi there,

    The share count is provided to us by Facebook and is based on how many times the link to your post has been shared on their end. It’s not related to how many times the sharing button on your site itself has been clicked. And it is possible on Facebook to share someone’s post without actually visiting the link in that post, so it is possible to have a share count for a post that is higher than the view count.
