  Hi, Presently I have only one article in my home page. i want to have 5 of my articles but only a small part of them to be seen on the first page. who ever visits should enter the “more” button to read the full article. How can I do that ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. To show only part of the post on the home page with a more link, you need to insert the more-tag while editing the post. Make sure you insert the tag on its own line and that you don’t have any formatting like Bold or Italics active when you do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  To control the number of posts appearing on your home page, go to Settings ->Reading in the dashboard and make sure that first your home page is set up to display Recent Posts, and under Blog Pages Show At Most, set it to five posts: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/
