Display a picture in a post.

I was writing a post and wanted to display a picture taken from my computer. I had a lot of trouble doing that simple task.

yeah me too i don’t know how . i pasted a picture in microsoft word and cut it and saved it and when i upload image they say that it doesn’t meet security guideline but when sometimes it passed i clicked edit but there was only the url name and the name for the picture and the description so i couldn’t find the show what size so i only put the I thingy at the place i want it to be in the post and clicked none and send to editor but there was only a square and the picture was invisible oh my gosh i really want a picture in my post!!! :cry: can someone teach me how to do it… :(
and when i use copy and paste the picture was invisible again ! what should i do???? -
What format did you save the picture in?
Word does all sorts of weird things. Try pasting the picture into Paint and saving as a jpg/jpeg.
I’ve never used the uploader here. I always use photobucket (some hate it, but I’ve never had a problem with it). I also write offline using BlogDesk and use their visual editor to get pictures into posts via the photobucket URL.
