Display a static image on post page

    Hi everyone,

I am putting together a basic website for a non-for-profit organisation using wordpress.com. I have set the front page of my blog as a static Home page, and have set up a News page to act as the posts page.

On each page I have a different static image, which essentially act as a banner above the main copy on each page. The problem I have is that I cannot seem to set a static image to display on the News page (posts page). I would like to insert a permanent image above the posts. Can this be done?

    Thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just make a post and put the image in it and set it as Sticky. That will keep it constantly on the top.

Do double-check your RSS feed after you’ve done this and written some new posts; when they first offered the Sticky feature, I noticed that subsequent posts sometimes didn’t go out on the feed when there was a sticky one set. Just make sure that’s not the case any longer and you’ll be good.
