Display all menu items (i.e,pages) on one line, no wrapping

    In my twenty eleven theme:

    I’d like to display all menu items (that is, my pages) on the same line. I removed the search box from the menu, and it appears that the “space” where the box was still impacts the display of the menu. The menu items “wrap” and continue on the next line. I’d like to display each menu item on the same line and not have two lines.

    I may reduce the size of the menu once I acheive the layout I’d like. Or vice versa.

    Anyone know how to use css to “tell” the menu to display all pages on one line?

    It’s been about 3 years since I’ve had a web design class where we used css, etc. I’m in the process of brushing up right now. I fogot how fun this is! :)

    Thanks.

    Give this a try:

    #branding .only-search + #access div {
      padding-right: 0;
    }

    If you post again, can you please make sure to include a link to the site you’re questions apply to? It helps very much to take a look directly.

    I’m glad you’re brushing up and that it’s fun! Totally awesome. :) And welcome!
