Display authors name before the beginning of the actual post

    Hello everyone,
I have recently added a new author who has published some blog posts. I was wondering whether there’s a way for the single author’s names and gravatars being displayed at the top of each post and not at the bottom in very small print?
The theme I am using is Cerauno and the blog I’m asking help for is http://www.thefoodtraveler.net
    Thanks for your help!
    Silvia

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello!

What you are referencing is the author byline, and where it is displayed varies from theme to theme.

In some themes it is posted next to the post title, and in others it’s down in at the end of the post, like you are seeing with yours. It really just depends, and for the Cerauno theme, it doesn’t like there is an option to toggle it’s position.

I hope this answers your question!

@silviademick, due to the way the HTML is structured, it isn’t going to be possible to move the author and icon up to the top of the posts. What I would suggest is to have your authors add their own byline at the top of the post content in the post editor, something like, “By Il Prigioniero Bernie”.

Thank you both for your replies!
I thought that it might depend in the theme and now I know for sure.
I’ll do as suggested and add the byline manually at the top of the post.
    Cheers!
