Display Blog on Facebook

  Hello,

  I’m sorry but I couldn’t find the answer anywhere, mostly because I don’t know how to explain my problem:
  When I want to share my blog’s URL on Facebook, it’s supposed to show the header, the name, or whatever… But it is just blank. No photo, just “Mango Beauty Tips” (by Mango Beauty Tips)

  However, it does work when I share a specific post: I can choose the main photo, there is the title and the beginning of the article.

  Can you tell me how I can fix this? It looks awful when I just want to share my blog.

  Definitely! First, we’ll want to setup a Blavatar as described here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

  This will be the default image shared alongside your blog address (mangobeautytips.com) when you share just that URL on Facebook (not for posts).

  Then, you’ll want to visit this link:

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=mangobeautytips.com

  From that link, click “Fetch New Scrape Information.”

  Once you’ve done that, the URL should look much better on Facebook. Can you give that a try?

  You. Are. Awesome.

  I must say that this “blavatar” option disappeared on the new dashboard, so I needed to switch to the “classic” mode.
  But then everything was so clear, it also stands for favicon and this is such a good news.

  Everything’s fine for my blog on Facebook now.
