Display categories on homepage like article directory with JBST theme?

  I’m working on a project at http://simplearticles.net for a client of mine. I can’t seem to get any available plugins to do the trick…I basically just need to display categories on the home page so it has an article directory feel to it.

  Any help? Thanks!
