Display email address

  I have a plug-in that is automatically sends an ebook after someone opts-in. When they opt-in the email is sent using my personal private email I used to create the wordpress login, I contacted both the plugin and email service’s support and it is beyond their control. How do I change my ‘username’ which is my email address? On my profile it says ‘cannot be changed’. I don’t want people to be seeing my personal email address. Please help. Thanks.

  Hi tradingformastery,

  When you are trying to change your email address, are you doing it through the WordPress dashboard or from your WordPress.com profile?

  Also have you double checked the email address listed in the settings of the plugin itself?

  I followed that the instructions on that video.

  The emails still show my personal email address instead of the email address of my website.

  Hey tradingformastery,

  It looks like your site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com, in which case you might have better luck finding your answer on a different forum or set of support docs.
