Display entry title on pages without changing theme or PHP?

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m trying to help run a blog for an organisation, and without going into too much detail, I don’t have access to modify the PHP and won’t be able to get anyone with access to do it for me. I do, however, have access to change the CSS.

On this blog we have a series of pages, but the theme that has been chosen does not display the title of each page automatically. If possible, I would like to get these pages to automatically display the entry title. I understand you can hide entry titles using CSS and doing that would be no problem, but is there any way to display the title using CSS, or any other method I might have access to?

More generally, if anyone knows of a guide that’s aimed at people using WordPress without access to the PHP or FTP, it would be very helpful.

    Hi benmarchant90449e529b,

The account you are contacting us from hasn’t created any sites on WordPress.com yet, which suggests the one you need help with is not hosted with us.

If you are using WordPress.org software with another host, the WordPress.org support forums will be the best place to post for advice:

    Best of luck!

You’re right, I’ll do that. Apologies and thanks.
