display full post not excerpt ONLY on ‘interviews’ page, not in Easy Testimonials

    Hello, happy new year!

    I’ve searched but haven’t found the answer to this question. When people visit my ‘interviews’ page, they get to an excerpt with an ‘Edit’ link above it – I’d rather they went straight to the full text of the interview, and in any case don’t want the ‘Edit’ to appear. How can I change this?

    Ok, I’ve found that the ‘Edit’ link vanishes when I’m logged out. I don’t know of other site visitors see it, but should maybe stay permanently logged out so that they don’t. I also found the setting ‘show full text’ instead of excerpts, checked and published it, but it’s made no difference, I still see the excerpt when going to that page. What more should I do?

    I’ve cleared all cookies, caches and website data

    Theme
    Customising
    Theme Options
    Change the default display options for the theme.
    Archive display
    Display excerpts or full content with optional “More” tag in the blog index and archive pages.
    Excerpt
    Full content – I checked this one then tapped ‘publish’

    The “Edit” link only appears to logged in admins, editor and authors on a site. Regular visitors to your site never see that.

    I also found the setting ‘show full text’ instead of excerpts, checked and published it, but it’s made no difference, I still see the excerpt when going to that page. What more should I do?

    We don’t make the Hummingbird theme you’re using on your site, and your site is also not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but merely connected here via the Jetpack plugin. So unfortunately this isn’t something we can help with, as we don’t have any control over how your theme handles this.

    Please contact support for that theme directly. There should be a support link on the site where you bought that theme.
