display links to posts with images or thumbnails

I’m wondering if there is a way to create a page that has a bunch of links to specific other pages on the site.
Right now I am able to just post a boring list of links with name of the the pages, I’d love to post the images from each page and possibly the first few sentences?

Hi there,
You can do this manually from the post/page editor in WordPress.Follow these steps to do so:
STEP 1: Go to the post editor screen
STEP 2: Add your title text, image and little texts from the page you want to link.
STEP 3:
Select them all and click on the “chain icon” and then paste the link to that particular page.
—– OR —–
Select them one by one:- Select the title text and then click on the “chain icon” and paste the link.
- Select the image and then click on the “chain icon” and paste the link.
- Select the texts from the page and then click on the “chain icon” and paste the link.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. When I do it manually it takes forever and comes out looking crappy. Every image is a different shape and looks awkward.
When I am editing posts and click on “blog posts” there is a beautiful long list of every post with pictures that looks exactly like what I want!
Obviously wordpress can do this, but I don’t know how to get it to do it where someone besides me can see it :(

Ohhh okay, in that case you might have to work with CSS codes here which enables you to add custom design elements the way you want it on your site.
You might need to upgrade to a WordPress.com Premium or a WordPress.com Business plan to be able to access the CSS editor.
