Display name greyed out in notification window

  When I have liked or commented on a post my display name of Jen M is still showing as greyed out and not clickable and therefore not linking to my website when it comes up in the notification centre. There is a button to follow me below my name which works, but this does not allow for previewing my blog before choosing to follow or not.

  I’ve posted this issue on someone elses thread who was having the same problem before and their issue was able to be resolved, but mine was not. Can anyone help?

  I see an address filled out in your profile now. This will mean new comments appear with your name linked. It doesn’t go back and change previous comments, though.

  Do you still see new comments with your name greyed out?

  Yes I do. I just went and liked a post that belongs to a separate blog attached to a separate email address (both belong to me) and it is still showing my name as greyed out in the notifications area.

  I’m wondering if it is because I do not OWN the blog that is my primary blog? (threesixtyfiveayear.wordpress.com) I do want to switch the ownership over, but I asked that in a separate help post and it wasn’t addressed.

  Yes. I just realized I was logged into my other profile from trying to verify everything.

  In case you are curious…what I did was change my blog from “discourage search engines” to “allow search engines”…this changed all my past and future likes to make my display name blue and clickable.
  I realized that, if you were not already following me, my posts were also not showing up in the reader when you explored different topics I had tagged…that was what tipped me off.
