“Display name publicly” question
-
I have 2 blogs — one on local affairs, one on soccer. When replying to comments on the local blog, I’d like my name to appear as “Dan Woog.” When replying to comments on the other, I’d like it to be “Staples Soccer.” However, when I change my setting for it on my dashboard — even while using the dashboard for one site — the other site automatically changes too. Is there an easy way to adjust settings so that different public names appear when I reply to comments on my two blogs?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will have to have the blogs on separate accounts in order to do that.
It’s covered under “Transferring Your Blog to Another User or Account” in this support document: http://support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ .

It is polite to provide a link to your blog when you are asking a question here, starting with

As the administrator of your blog, you can see that personal information. But if you log out from wp you will not see emails. Nor can your readers. -
Once someone makes a comment on your blog, and fills in the information, wordpress will place a cookie on their computer so that they can remember that person’s information. It does not show for anyone else, just the person it belongs to.
