Display number of comments by each author?

  I’m teaching a course where all the students are registered as Authors, and I’d like to see the total number of posts and comments from each Author. The All Users page displays the number of posts, but not the number of comments. Is there a way to also display the number of comments by each Author?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There isn’t a way to add a comment count column like that on WordPress.com. It’s not the most convenient, but you may be able to get the numbers you’re looking for by entering each email address in the search box at the top right of the Users page in the dashboard.

  Thanks. Searching by email still only gives me the number of posts, and not the number of comments. I guess I’ll just have to go through and count them by hand. Thanks anyway.

  Sorry, I meant the Comments page, not the Users page. Typed too fast before!
