Display of Date on Post

  How do I get the date of publication for a post from showing on the display. Do I have to upgrade to have control over this? Thank you.

  You can control the appearance of your blog with a Custom Design upgrade, if you’re experienced with CSS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ and http://support.wordpress.com/editing-css/

  There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.
