display of uploaded images

  Hi there. I am having problems with uploading images. They upload fine, but then when I check my website they are not displayed, but instead show up as an empty rectangular. Even when I delete the photo completely and update, this same outline appears on the site. I am using the same file size as other photos that displayed normally.
