Display on Facebook

    First off, I am not able to get my blog to automatically post on Facebook when I have posted a new blog. So I always just copy the link and post it on to my status bar. That has worked fine (although it would have been even better if this had been automatic.)

    But the last few times, the link has posted very funny on FB. It does not attach an thumbnail, and is just a plain line of text and looks very unattractive.

    How can I fix this? Many of my readers find my blogs on FB so it is important that this works right. My husband has the same problem when he tries to post it, it displays the same way for him as well.

    Hi there,

    It looks like your connection to Facebook within Publicize is working correctly. However, if you’re experiencing problems with it, you might go into your Dashboard and under Settings > Sharing, disconnect and reconnect your Facebook account.

    As for images, it’s a good idea to always choose a featured image for your posts, so that Facebook knows which image to associate with your post (even if you only have one).

    Let me know if either of those solutions helps you out or if you’re still having trouble. A screenshot from Facebook that shows what you’re seeing would also be helpful – you can upload one to your media library so I can see it.
