Display on Google Search
-
My companies name is Milestone Wealth Advisors. When we search our business in the google search bar it appears with a menu listed underneath. There is a tab Michael Sicuranza; which should not be showing. I deleted all pages that contained him within wordpress. Not sure if this is a fix I can do within wordpress or if this is a google problem. Thank you in advance!

I have checked your domain milestonewealthadv.com (I’m guessing that’s the one you’re asking about), and it is hosted on Site 5 hosting, not on WordPress.com. Since this forum is dedicated to helping WordPress.com users, you should try asking help on WordPress.org forums for self-hosted version of WordPress:

The menu you see when you search your site on Google is called Sitemap and is usually created by a WordPress plugin (most often by SEO plugin). You will most likely need to refresh that sitemap but how exactly you need to do that will depend on the plugin that you are using to create it.
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction.

You can search for all instances of Michael Sicuranza still indexed by Google by typing into Google Search: “site:http://milestonewealthadv.com/ michael sicuranza”
If you are using an SEO plugin, you will need to refresh the Sitemap and resubmit to Google.

Thank you for the responses.
Bindlegirl: I have the ALL in One SEO pack and it shows XML Sitemap. I do not see a refresh button. I am unable to post a question to the wordpress.org. Thank you in advance! -

https://wordpress.org/support/ is where you need to be. Your WordPress.com log in details won’t work there though. You’ll need to register an account.
