Display picture from blog on facebook

  The last 4 times when I posted an article (it automatically publishes on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook), every time the picture is wrong, and got nothing to do with the post I’ve published. How do I solve this?

  Hi there,

  The images for Publicize are selected in the following order:

  • Featured image
  • The first image of a Slideshow within the post
  • The first image of a Gallery within the post
  • An image attached to the post and inserted
  • Any other image in the post (not attached but perhaps linked)

  For your latest post, “Reserveren doe je best nu, bij LO van Wout Bru”, it looks like an image from the article was indeed pulled with the Facebook post as shown by the screenshot here:

  

  For reference, the image in the posts have to be at least 200×200 before they are pulled alongside the post to Facebook. Have you tried setting a featured image for your posts? The featured image is the first image pulled when sharing. You can find how to do that here:

  Can you point me to an example of where the shared post has pulled an image that is irrelevant to the actual blog post?
