Display poster's name

We have multiple people using a single blog for communicating. When someone posts something, it’s not immediately clear who posted it (some usernames are not very descriptive). Is there a way to display the poster’s real name along with the post? Either next to or instead of the gravitar would be good.

The name that appears in the author byline and for the author archives is the name that the user has set as their display name under Users ->My Profile in the dashboard. The only way to change what displays is for each user to change it in their own dashboards, and some might not want to if they use the same account for other blogs. I don’t know of an option to automatically add another display name.
On a blog where I collaborate with others we have the understanding that each person manually adds his/her signature at the bottom of posts. It’s not ideal, but it might work for you as well.
