Hi there. Blog posts by default appear on your home page (main feed) in reverse chronological order. You cannot prevent posts from publishing on the main feed, but you can set up category pages that will only display posts that have a certain category assigned. You’ll need to create a custom menu in order to use category pages. See these articles for comprehensive instructions:

http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/I strongly suggest you first publish some posts in the categories you want before you try to set up category pages, though, otherwise it tends to get a bit confusing.
To not have your main feed appear on the home page you’ll need to assign a static page as your home page. Instructions to do that here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/You cannot assign a category page as your home page.
Let us know if you need more help with this.

You can see the theme of any WordPress.com site by looking right at the bottom (a link to the theme will always appear in the footer), or by clicking the three dots in the action bar in the bottom-right of the screen.I am using Franklin and @basimaonline is using Baskerville
