Display Posts Shortcode, CSS Upgrade & Image floating to left

  I’m using the “Display Posts Shortcode” with CSS Upgrade and defining the CSS to float the thumbnail image to the left as explained here:

  This has been working fine up until about 3 days ago, now the thumbnail image is floating right, as seen on 3 different websites using 3 different themes:
