  What’s the title of the post? What browser and version are you using? Does the word count go up?

  I haven’t posted. The body of the text, when I try to type, is invisable. I’m using the latest IE – it hasn’t been a problem thus far. I

  IE is a serious problem. Try the Cookie Dance: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart your computer. That sometimes fixes things like this.

  What is the URL of your site? The “invisible text” thing typically only happens on self-hosted wordpress sites.

  Hmm, haven’t seen that problem here. Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart the browser and then try again and see what happens.

  If that does no good, then try a different browser such as Firefox perhaps and see if it is related only to IE.
