Display Profile Link on Home Page
-
This may seem elementary, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get my profile linked to my home page. I operate a dual-author blog, and clicking on my Author link only brings up my posts… none of my profile info.
I know how to use the “About” page, and that’s not what I’m interested in. I want the info in my wordpress profile to be viewable by the blog visitors. How do I do it?
Thanks,
Matt

There is no way that I’m aware of that allows visitors to view your profile (like Blogger)

I feel like I’m chasing the Green Fairy here, but there IS a Profile Page out there and the fact that WP.COM doesn’t provide a link to it somewhere probably means they don’t want COM becoming a bl*gger clone.
But why not enter the info you want on the About page?

I’ve been trying to view people’s profiles since starting my blog. I thought that I was just overlooking something, but now I know that you can’t do it. I think it would be good to be able to see people’s profiles, especially since a lot of them don’t have separate pages about themselves.

Wow. That’s flat out lame. A blog for which you can’t view one another’s profiles is no blog at all. I’m stunned.
The “About” tab is being used for general info about the blog.

You must be keeping MUCH more interesting stuff in your profile than I am!
I think that the profiles are infrastructure for when BuddyPress goes live, but other than that unless you have a theme which automatically generates an About page I’ve never found a use for them.
